Kristie Haynes concentrates her practice in professional malpractice defense, particularly in the areas of legal and accountant malpractice. Ms. Haynes also has considerable experience litigating complex commercial matters, including intellectual property, antitrust, RICO and fraud.
Ms. Haynes was a member of the trial team in a five-month jury trial on behalf of an English merchant bank, which resulted in a favorable $24.6 million judgment.
Although born in Richmond, Ms. Haynes practiced in Washington D.C. for six years after law school with the firms of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, L.L.P. and Slavit & Gill, P.C. She returned home to Richmond in 2003.
